On behalf of the students and community of 232nd Place Elementary School, I would like to express our grateful appreciation for your donation of computers to our school.  As you  may not know, most of our computers and technology program components are comprised of outdated and/or inefficient pieces of hardware and limited software.

Your gift of computers that are relatively new and provide current technology is helpful on many levels.  First, our students will have the opportunity to use more sophisticated software programs that require newer technology that what we have had available.  Second, we will be able to provide our students with instructional tools; computers that use relatively current technology based on programs that are being used in industry at this time.  Finally, we will be able to provide student with the ability to develop skills that are relevant to those that will be needed when they graduate from high school.

Along with this letter, I have included a “232nd Place School Partnership Handbook”.  The Handbook provides you with some information about our school.  In addition it is part of our recognition program for organizations and businesses that have joined us a Business/Industry Partners.  By providing us with computers, you have already become our “Adopter”.

We have included a copy of your Partnership Program Data Form.  If you see any incorrect information, please let us know.  We would like to make sure that you are formally recognized by the School District.  This recognition will not obligate you to any other participation with our school.  We do however, hope that you will continue to support our school in any way that you can.

Again, thank-you for supporting our school with your generous gift.

Sincerely,
